Take part in the Inter School Mud Run

Good Afternoon

You are all invited to take part in the Inter-School Mud Run – open to all kids, parents, grandparent, family and friends!

This is a great fundraising opportunity for schools around the Ashdown Forest so join in, have fun, get fit – AND collect sponsorship to raise money for St Johns CE Primary School all at the same time!

It is on Sunday 30th April 2017 at Pippingford Park starting at 10.30am. There are 2 events:
a 6km event open to anyone – a great chance to challenge yourself on the obstacles, in the mud and across natural landscape.
a 1km fun mud run for for ages 4 and over
There will be goody bags and medals up for grabs for the runs plus food, music, a bouncy castle and and lots of more at the event village.

We will also be looking for some Marshals to help out with the organisation and monitoring of the race on the day so do let us know if you can help with this.

Have a look at the website here for more information, to enter and download your sponsorship form :

Keep an eye out for the leaflets and sponsorship forms in the book bags next week.

If you do have any questions please speak to either your Class PTA Rep, Carolyn Markham from the PTA or Jon James from the Governors.

Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing you on the 30th April!

Reminder – Medications

If your child requires medicine to be held and administered at school, please could you inform the office directly. Unfortunately, there are forms to be completed including a parental consent to be signed. This is an East Sussex County Council policy. Also, the medicines must be given directly to a member of staff in the office and not sent into school with the children. Lastly, absences should be reported every day giving a reason.
Thank you for your co-operation.
